Description

The pulp sample is dried under vacuum. The loss in mass is determined by weighing.

This method, derived from the Second Commission Directive of the European Union (71/393/EEC), concerns the determination of the moisture content of dry sugar beet pulp.

The absolute difference between two results obtained under repeatability conditions should be not greater than 0.49 g/100 g.

The absolute difference between two results obtained under reproducibility conditions should be not greater than 1.60 g/100 g.
